Elders Table Collective
More than events — a return to culture
Seven wazee bringing Mugithi and zilizopendwa experiences to Toronto through the Elders Table collective.
About Us Story
More than events — a return to culture
Elders Table is a Toronto-based collective behind Ngogoyo ya Toronto — a Mugithi and zilizopendwa experience rooted in culture, music, and community.
At its core, Elders Table is seven wazee coming together with one vision: to create spaces where the diaspora can reconnect through sound, rhythm, and shared moments.
Inspired by the traditional Table ya Wazee, we bring people together to celebrate music, nostalgia, and the energy of home — right here in Toronto.
Cultural Photo Gallery
These moments reflect more than just a night out — they capture the energy, connection, and spirit of Mugithi and zilizopendwa. From singalongs to shared laughter, every gathering brings people closer to culture, community, and the feeling of home.
